“Our Lady of the Lakes Religious Education Program, in partnership with parents, continues the mission of Jesus Christ through the faith formation of all children in the areas of education, worship, community and service.”
Our Lady of the Lakes Religious Education Program strives to promote Catholic teachings for students that attend non-Parochial schools. The classes support pre-kindergarten through eighth grade religious training and high school confirmation training.
Classes are offered in the Fall on Sundays at the St. Bede Site and on Wednesdays at the St. Peter site. Specifics of each program can be found in the attached information.
The Religious Education Program is monitored and supported by an Advisory Board. The board’s purpose is to review and change the curriculum as needed, to review books that are used in the Program, to help establish and monitor a working budget, to establish overall monitoring of the success of the program, to name just a few of the board’s responsibility.
If you have any questions about the programs you can contact:
Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, because the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I assure you that whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it. Mark 10:13-16
